Funny thing is, we’re both right. I was born in 2009, but the veterinarians remind me that cats and dogs age a lot faster than humans. It’s not quite the seven-people-years-per-pet-year rule you’re probably familiar with, which is good news for me. According to the newest charts, I’m just a tad over 50.

Middle-aged, yes, but not yet over the hill. And that makes me feel like this:
